We’re always looking for ways to improve our communication with our customers, especially during power outages. Launching in August, our new power outage texting notification feature!

With this new feature, you’ll be able to report an outage by texting “OUT” to (906) 228-0300.

You will receive a text message as soon as we are aware there is a power outage in your area.

All customers with an active account and a valid cell phone number should keep an eye out for a welcome text message in the coming weeks!

This summer we are demolishing the Shiras Steam Plant, which has stood on S. Lake St since construction was completed in 1967. Our goal through the entire demolition process is to create as small of an impact on the neighborhood as possible and will be working towards ensuring that through every step of the demolition.
